Government Jobz is pleased to share this vacancy for a SEN/Primary Teacher with QTS in Maryport. Humly North West is seeking a dedicated educator to join a primary school Resource Provision for Year 1 and 2 pupils. This role starts on 27/04/2026 and runs until 17/07/2026, with a possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Year 1/2 National Curriculum effectively.
• Support pupils within a Resource Provision, tailoring lessons for individual SEN needs.
• Implement Read, Write Inc. strategies.
• Maintain a nurturing, structured classroom environment.
• Assess and track pupil progress while collaborating with SEN professionals.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or mixed Year 1/2 classes.
• Strong knowledge of inclusive teaching and SEN practices.
• Expertise in using Read, Write Inc.
