Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Finance Business Partner, your duties at Government Jobz will involve:
Management Accounting:
- Raising invoices and resolving supplier payment issues.
- Calculating transactions for the general ledger and performing monthly analysis.
- Preparing internal recharges and assisting with annual budget/forecast production.
- Liaising with budget managers to ensure financial compliance.
Financial Accounting:
- Maintaining the Authorised Signatory Database and accounting hierarchy.
- Reconciling suspense and balance sheet accounts (salary deductions, lease cars).
- Handling payroll overpayment queries and facilitating recoveries.
- Administering Trust car leasing financial arrangements.
Salary Banding & Requirements
Candidates with NVQ Level 3 or AAT Level 3 will start at Band 3 salary (£24,937). The higher range is available for qualified applicants. This is a hybrid role, initially requiring 3-4 days in the office. Check out Government Jobz and our latest job listings for more info.
