Role Summary
The primary focus of this role at Government Jobz is the preparation and analysis of water samples. You will assist in the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring high-quality standards and sample integrity are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze water samples using Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Manage consumables and ensure proper sample storage (temperature control).
- Maintain accurate records and perform daily equipment calibrations.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Systems of Work.
- Maintain a clean working environment and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any anomalies to the direct supervisor and support continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a driven personality.
- Basic awareness of laboratory safety is a plus.
