Daily Responsibilities
As a key member of the agricultural team featured on Government Jobz, you will ensure fair trade and safety in the industry. Typical duties include:
- Conducting field surveys for pest control, nursery compliance, and crop quality.
- Inspecting weighing and measuring devices (gas pumps, electric meters, scales) to ensure consumer protection.
- Investigating labeling accuracy and issuing certificates of compliance or citations.
- Performing statistical surveys for annual crop statistics.
- Advising the public and government agencies on agricultural policies.
Minimum Qualifications

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Biological, Chemical, or Physical Sciences (accredited 4-year college).
