Are you an IT professional living in Alaska? Government Jobz is excited to share a new opening with the State of Alaska Department of Corrections. This flexibly staffed position is located in the heart of downtown Anchorage.
What You Will Do
As a key member of the Information Technology Unit, you will support the Alaska Corrections Offender Management System (ACOMS). Your role involves the full software development lifecycle: analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of in-house applications that keep the department running smoothly.

Minimum Qualifications
- Level 2: 1 year of programming experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/CIS.
- Level 3: 2 years of programming experience (1 year in business/scientific applications).
- Level 4: 4 years of programming experience.
