The Position and Duties
As an Auditor, you will perform professional county-wide audit and attest duties. Your responsibilities include reviewing account records for compliance with GAAP, preparing financial and narrative reports, and conducting fiscal monitoring for county departments, special districts, and vendors. Required Knowledge and Skills
- Expertise in professional standards (GAAS, GAAP, GAGAS).
- Familiarity with COSO Internal Control frameworks and IIA professional standards.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local taxation codes and business law.
- Ability to prepare statistical data and provide effective financial recommendations.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Minimum Qualifications
