Role & Responsibilities

Working within Kern Behavioral Health and Recovery Services, the Planning Analyst manages professional administrative duties. This includes analyzing health data, planning service improvements, and collaborating with public or nonprofit agencies. You must be able to travel to various locations and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to meet community needs.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify through Government Jobz, applicants must meet the following standards:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Two years of professional administrative experience in behavioral health, general health, or welfare agencies.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to off-site locations for service delivery.

Examination Process

Selection is based on an Oral Exam (Weighted 100%), which evaluates your education, experience, and fitness for the role. Candidates must score at least 70% to be placed on the 12-month eligibility list. Government Jobz notes that if candidate volume is low, an appraisal of application materials may replace the oral exam.
