Career Opportunity: Airport Operations Duty Manager

The State of Hawai’i is now hiring for a high-level Airport Operations Duty Manager on the Island of Oahu. As reported by Government Jobz, this permanent, full-time leadership role is based at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport and other Oahu facilities.

Monthly Salary: $6,754 to $8,218

Primary Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will act as the Shift Manager in charge of crisis response and operational safety. According to Government Jobz, the Duty Manager coordinates over 20 in-house and contract services, including security, maintenance, and ramp control. You must be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 4.5 years of professional experience in air transportation facility operations or maintenance.
  • Leadership: Proven supervisory aptitude or team leadership experience.
  • Compliance: Must pass a SIDA Federal Criminal History check and hold a valid driver’s license.
