Role Summary & Duties

The Clerical Supervisor II is responsible for overseeing clerical teams within a correctional environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing two or more groups performing moderately complex clerical routines.
• Supervising journey-level staff (Office Assistant III) handling complex assignments.
• Exercising judgment in office policies, procedures, and disposition of tasks.
• Ensuring operational efficiency within the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

To be eligible for this position found on Government Jobz, applicants must meet the following:

• Legal Authorization: Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident alien.
• General Experience: 3.5 years of responsible clerical work experience involving office technologies, grammar, and arithmetic.
• Supervisory Aptitude: Must demonstrate leadership potential through past lead roles or specialized training.
• Background Check: Requires an intensive background check and drug screening.
• PREA Compliance: Must meet all standards of the Prison Rape Elimination Act regarding past conduct.
