Role Description
As a Construction Management Specialist, you will act as a key assistant to Resident Engineers or Inspection Supervisors. You will ensure that County projects meet strict Public Contract Code standards, safety regulations, and technical specifications. This is a vital role for those seeking government engineering jobs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction phases for single complex projects or multiple smaller projects.
- Review and prepare Construction Change Orders and cost estimates.
- Inspect workmanship and materials for safety hazards.
- Maintain professional relationships with contractors, consultants, and County staff.
- Prepare technical reports, board letters, and claims analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
