Salary & Benefits
- CO1 On-call: $34.75 – $37.43 per hour.
- CO2 On-call: $35.63 – $40.30 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
To qualify for these roles via Government Jobz, you must have:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- The legal right to carry a firearm.
- For CO2 Level: One year of experience as a DOC Correctional Officer or equivalent adult/juvenile corrections experience.
Job Duties & Training
Correctional Officers maintain facility security, monitor inmate movement, and act as positive role models. New hires must complete a six-week paid Training Academy (Correctional Worker Core). Note that overtime is an essential function of this role, and the work can be physically demanding.

The pre-employment process includes a criminal background check, drug testing, and a psychological evaluation. Candidates must also provide proof of a baseline TB skin test within 60 days of hire.
