Role Responsibilities
As an Environmental Specialist featured on Government Jobz, you will conduct field sampling for pesticides and nutrients in surface waters. Duties include collecting field samples for lab analysis, preparing chain of custody documents, and managing data for senior staff. Expect a mix of office work and field activities on uneven terrain or near moving water.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Physical Science, or Natural Sciences.
- OR Associate’s degree in related fields plus 2 years of work experience.
- OR 4 years of experience in technical support, customer service, or manual labor.
- Preferred: Experience with GIS, water chemistry, or environmental lab analysis.
