Shift & Compensation

This position requires flexibility to work any shift within a 24-hour period. Kern County offers additional pay incentives for shift work: 5% extra for evening shifts and 7.5% extra for night shifts. According to Government Jobz, applicants must be willing to work any 5 out of 7 days.

Examination Process

The selection process consists of a Written Exam (weighted 100%). You must achieve a score of 70% or higher. The exam evaluates your knowledge of:

Minimum Requirements
