Job Summary

As a Judicial Clerk IV, you will supervise and participate in high-level court clerical tasks. Your responsibilities include customer service, processing legal documents, and maintaining vital records for the Circuit, District, Family, or Appellate Courts. Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role listed on Government Jobz, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• General Experience: Two (2) years of general clerical work.
• Specialized Experience: 1.5 years of experience in a court, legal, or law enforcement setting. At least one year must be at the Judicial Clerk III level.
• Supervisory Aptitude: Must demonstrate leadership potential or have experience as a team leader.
• Typing Skill: Ability to type 40 net words per minute.

Education Substitutions

You may substitute your college education for experience:

• 15 credits = 6 months of General Experience (up to 2 years).
• 15 credits in Paralegal or Legal Studies = 6 months Specialized Experience (up to 1 year).
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, or Political Science can substitute for 1 year of Specialized Experience.
