Role Overview
Tacoma Power is seeking a GIS expert to lead the digital twin development for their Transmission & Distribution (T&D) system. This role acts as the Product Owner within an Agile framework, translating operational needs into technical requirements for over 200 users. If you have deep knowledge of electrical power systems and GIS mapping, this is one of the premier usa jobs currently available.
Primary Duties:
- Lead the development of the T&D GIS digital twin.
- Manage the product backlog, prioritizing work items and user stories.
- Direct Sprint Planning and Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements
The City of Tacoma is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: 4 years of experience in analytical, functional analyst, or database maintenance work.
- Hybrid Work: Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week and live within 2 hours of the Tacoma Public Utilities campus.
