Salary Information
- Level III (SR-20): $4,961 to $6,043 per month
- Level IV (SR-22): $5,369 to $6,535 per month

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Noxious Weed Specialist III: Focuses on technical research, regulatory work, and providing advisory services for weed control projects. This level includes training lower-level specialists.
Noxious Weed Specialist IV: Involves planning special investigations, supervising district-wide eradication projects, and managing full-cycle research on plant pests.
Note: Positions may require night/weekend work, inter-island travel, and the use of safety gear like respirators while handling pesticides.
Minimum Qualification Requirements

- Legal Work Status: Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Education: A 4-year degree in Agriculture, Botany, Entomology, Horticulture, or related Biological Sciences.
- Experience:
- Level III: 1.5 years of specialized experience.
- Level IV: 2.5 years of specialized experience.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 45 lbs unassisted (up to 75 lbs with help).
- Driver’s License: A valid license is required at the time of appointment.
