About the Position
This position is part of the Office of Special Disability Programs. As a Rehabilitation Associate I, you will act as a vital support system for Rehabilitation Specialists. Your work ensures the smooth delivery of vocational services, from managing technical case files to coordinating consumer intake.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Caseload Management: Creating and reviewing technical case forms using electronic management systems.
- Consumer Intake: Collecting and verifying data from consumers during the intake process.
- Financial Support: Monitoring consumer purchasing, following fiscal policies, and tracking fee schedules.
- Coordination: Scheduling medical diagnostic examinations and preparing specialist itineraries.
- Communication: Transcribing correspondence and maintaining professional relationships with vendors, consumers, and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
To qualify through Government Jobz, you should possess:
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Preferred: At least one year of full-time clerical work in social services, medical, mental health, or customer service fields.
