Job Summary & Duties

Under general supervision, you will operate school buses on passenger routes, transporting students safely to schools, athletic events, and field trips. Check out more transportation jobs on our portal.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive designated routes according to strict time schedules.
• Ensure student safety during boarding, transport, and discharge.
• Perform child check safety procedures and vehicle safety inspections.
• Assist students with disabilities and supervise conduct on the bus.
• Administer basic first aid and maintain simple trip records.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: One year of full-time motor vehicle operation experience. Experience with children is a plus.
• Licensing: Valid California Class A or B Driver License with Passenger Endorsement.
• Certification: Valid California School Bus Driver Certificate (CHP issued).
• Medical: Proof of freedom from active Tuberculosis (TB test within last 60 days).
