Duties Summary
There are two primary types of roles for this level:
- Type A (District Management): Planning and implementing island-wide trail projects, managing budgets, and representing the program in community meetings.
- Type B (Program Support): Developing statewide policies, coordinating commercial trail use standards, and providing technical support to district staff.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
To qualify for this career opportunity through Government Jobz, you must meet the following criteria:
- Legal Authorization: Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree with at least 24 credits in Natural Resources Management, Outdoor Recreation, Resource Planning, or related Ecology studies.
- Specialized Experience: 3 years of professional experience in outdoor recreation or natural resource management.
- Driver’s License: A valid license is required for this vacancy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry objects (assisted or unassisted) as needed.
