Daily Responsibilities
As a Lead Instructor with Government Jobz, you will:
- Train, mentor, and evaluate tennis staff and volunteers.
- Plan and evaluate tennis programs and equipment needs.
- Facilitate the inclusion of participants with special needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents and community partners.
- Monitor budget expenditures and manage program supplies.
- Ensure facility safety and handle emergency situations.
- Serve as a Mandatory Reporter for child safety.
What You’ll Need
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year of related experience in tennis instruction or similar tasks.
- Certification: Valid First Aid/CPR certification (must obtain within 30 days).
- License: Valid Oregon driver’s license (if driving for district business).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of tennis techniques and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Working Environment
